Who are The One in Elevens
One is Elevens are extraordinary people with an amazing gift and talent. Many have no idea
whatsoever that they possess these very special abilities. You yourself may even be a 1n11 and
don't know it. So how do you find out?
First let's talk about what a 1n11 is and just what this special gift and talent is.
1n11s are very unique and rare individuals and as the name implies only about one in every
eleven people have the gift. This number is purely arbitrary and is based solely on my experience
as a comedy stage hypnotist. During my stage shows, I noticed on average, out of every eleven
people that I attempted to hypnotize, a gem would emerge. Someone who would accept the
hypnosis suggestions and allow themselves to go down very deeply and become the star of the
show. Not that the others didn't get hypnotized, but this one individual would stand out. They had
a special ability which allowed them to experience their imagination as though it were real.
Sometimes in a show, I may be fortunate and have everyone that comes up be 1n11s and other
times only one or two. Through my experience and years of performing, I have worked it out to an
average of one out of every eleven people has this special ability and thus the tag 1n11.
Just to say this at the beginning, I am not a 1n11. I wish I were. Cozy is a 1n11 and by far the
best I have ever seen. Together, we have been seeking out other 1n11s to come and join us and
learn together more about what it means to be a 1n11.
What we have learned thus far is amazing and in capsulated form a 1n11 is someone who has the
ability to allow the things that they imagine to appear to be real to them. This does not mean that
they are crazy people, though I am sure the asylums may be full of 1n11s who never realized what
was going on with their minds. 1n11s are very normal ordinary people with the exception of
having a very vivid and fertile imagination. The list of attributes below will give you some idea of
how to tell if you or someone you know may be a 1n11.
The most significant attribute of the 1n11 is that they are somnambulists which simply means that
they may walk or talk in their sleep. This is the same place where hypnosis takes place. While
under hypnosis, the mind drops into the theta brain wave level which is right between asleep and
awake. It's like the feeling you may get just before waking up in the morning, hearing a sound or
smelling a smell and having it become a part of your dream. For example, as you're waking up,
the alarm goes off and in your dream you reached over and turned if off but in reality it's still
ringing away.
So, are all sleep walkers 1n11s? No, but we have found the majority are. We have a working
theory which is based purely on observation about why this is so and what causes a 1n11s ability.
We believe it has to do with how the brain learns and matures. From birth to about age 12, a
child's imagination roams free. It's the brain's way of trying and testing all the incoming
information. Information that is constantly being filtered through the neural net deciding what
should be kept and what should be discarded. Without an imagination we couldn't learn. We
couldn't problem solve. We couldn't create. We use our imagination to play and to learn how to
survive. Around the age of 12, the brain makes a shift and pulls in the reigns on the imagination
and says that now it's time to take all the stuff that we have learned thus far and use it to get us
through the rest of our lives. This is also about the time when puberty strikes, hormones rage and
all hell breaks loose for most teens. 1n11s are no exception here, other than that their
imagination doesn't get pulled in. It remains open. They may have had imaginary friends as a
child and continue to have them on into adulthood. 1n11s don't see the world like the rest of us.
They have a very vivid and active imagination that allows them to be highly creative, passionate,
emotional, and often shy and reserved, feeling misunderstood. 1n11s walk a fine line between
reality and their imagination. One step over the line and it can be difficult to tell the difference
between what's real and whats imagination.
This is where we come in. We don't claim to have all the answers nor do we claim to be therapists
but we do offer an understanding to those who would like to learn more. Together we can learn
how to take those special wonderful abilities of the 1n11 and use them to better ourselves and the
world around us.
The mind is a very powerful organ and we have barely scratched the surface of it's capabilities.
